BIM focus in East of England

Construction and property consultants, Playle and Partners held the first of their Building Information Modelling workshops on Friday 12th April 2013 at Milsoms at Kesgrove Hall, Suffolk.

The event was attended by a number of major regionally based architectural practices. The form focused on “Business planning and BIM” and included a key presentation from Mark Johnson of CADS.

Mark addressed some of the key strategic and technical issues that must be considered when planning to adopt BIM. These issues were supported by Peter Blake and Rebecca Palmer of the law firm Prettys who raised a number of legal considerations and suggestions on how to structure an appointment when undertaking projects with a BIM requirement.

If you are interested to learn more or you would like to attend a future forum hosted by Playle and Partners please contact Stuart Coy on 020 8300 6811.
